Secret Service arrests man outside Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's house
The Secret Service arrested a man outside Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's house in Washington, D.C. The man, who was arrested Thursday morning for unauthorized use of a vehicle and driving without a permit, wanted to speak with a Secret Service protectee, according to the police report obtained by the Washington Examiner. “This morning, officers of the U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division arrested an individual for unauthorized use of a vehicle and driving without a permit. The individual was subsequently transported to MPDC 2nd District for processing,” the Secret Service said in a statement to the Washington Examiner.
The vehicle that the unnamed man was driving, a Mercedes Benz 350 series, was later reported stolen from a New Jersey repair shop. Law enforcement did not release any information regarding his motive or what he had planned on doing had they not interfered. Ivanka Trump, the daughter of President Trump and a White House adviser, is currently on a trip in Denver and was not home at the time of the disturbance, but Kushner was spotted emerging from their house 10 minutes after the incident, according to the Daily Mail.
