A report has shown a tampering of evidence in the court case of the Missouri couple who brandished firearms at trespassing rioters. A member of Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner’s staff ordered the crime lab workers to take Ms. McCloskey’s gun apart and reassemble it so it would be “capable of lethal use.” The gun was previously inoperable due to a misassembled firing pin spring and pin.
