I believe the operations and surveillance you are speaking of is currently under way. Depending on what you are targeting as far as cargo All I can recommend for you is dynamically profiling of daily events in key traffic origin cities and correlating those events with shipping schedules / patterns. Sounds like you have a better handle on the origins and destinations than I do however.
Acquire the normalized traffic patterns / schedules….look for the anomalies. See where the data set takes you from there. Its all data analysis. Adding another vector in "events" in cities and countries where people are going missing.
So you have a pre whu-flu data set? Maybe a couple moths of baseline trending captured? This could be interesting actually. If we can get our hands on a post whu-flu trend / pattern it may present interesting data points. Usually leads to more questions but may add another context to the data you haven't seen as of yet. The adding of current "event" will be a key data point to get a little more visibility you are looking for. Abductions, missing persons, missing from foster care, etc… If you have a link or can post the raw pre and post schedules in a csv we can work with that and see what she brings. From there add the other event vectors. Container tracking CSV would be brilliant for origin / destination pattern analysis. May want to dedicate a bread.
Python is great for this type of work. If someone can bring in some decent data sets I can bring the data sets together. python notebooks are quick an easy for non CodeAnons. Present different ways of looking at the raw data, and charting / graphing.

yes like that…..if we could get a full dump of that site (or port container management tracking sites data) it would make for some very interesting deep data digs. Would not be that difficult to integrate from several sources.
Another factor to take in to account for sure. I will see what I can do. There are other potential sources out there for this type of information. I will see what I can do in the raw data set area. I'm sure /ourguys/ are all over this information and have full access due to National Security and Customs. Along with the comms connecting the players. It would be great to be apart of that analysis With the tech available today I'm sure /ourguys/ have this well covered. One of the biggest challenges I have sometimes is getting my hands on clean raw data sets to organize and review. We will keep after it anon.
