Under Thomas Friedan, the CDC was, as I recall, attempting to get the authority to quarantine people with certain symptoms, holding them against their will and possibly attempting to compel vaccination. It was anticipated that police would be used to vaccinate motorists in "pods". The CDC's origins are at least "quasi" military.
I think the CDC is possibly the biggest threat to public health in America second to the pharmaceutical companies themselves (who buy favorable MSM coverage by paying for 70% or so of television advertising). The CDC has a revolving door with pharmaceutical insiders and is, in fact, a vaccine company.
Vaccines are important to pharmaceutical cartels because they create the diseases you will be paying them for "treatment" for the rest of your life. The abominations in the vaccines make them akin to snake venom rather than "medicine" and belief in their safety and effectiveness is an article of religious dogma rather than science.
