Had the same issue with a doc who claimed to be interested in integrative health. Walked away from opiates and the pharmacy. Fortunately, cannabis has been sufficient for my issues since then.
CBD oil that has no THC is NON-psychoactive, and will not get you high. Do not however discount THC absolutely.
