You somehow managed to "socialize" with your spouse and produce multiple children, right? So you know something about it? Maybe you are better at guiding their "socialization" than a schoolteacher….
Your point is well-taken.
However…. if you look at those who publically proclaim themselves to be transexuals or exemplars of other constructed sexual indentities, the VAST majority of them are seeking social and institutional validation.
These are NOT the sorts of people publically seeking validation for a deviation from the norm via homeschooling.
And this is true despite a VERY wide range in the sorts of parents who homeschool, from "fundamentalist Christians" to more-or-less anarchists. What unites these opposite "extremes" is a trust in the ability of parents to care for their children.
It is certainly possible that some perverts could exploit an opening here… and it is arguably a government function to watch for this… but I see no evidence that the government should PRESUME that parents seeking to guide the upbringing of their children are in danger of being sexual perverts.
Far to the contrary, it seems that the sexual manipulation of children results FAR more often from passive trust in institutional authority.
I hope these local forces that get so much hate can restore order on their own. We all win that way.
