People in Philadelphia don't care at all about fracking and steel production and there are a lot of people in Philadelphia.

Sometimes the GOP wins in PA, and sometimes they don't.

The parts of PA which give the GOP solid majorities don't really care about fracking or steel.

South Central PA gives the GOP solid margins of victory. The metros of Harrisburg, Lancaster and York have 1.5 Million + people. And the GOP always wiins there.

Southweastern PA has moved from D to R over the last 50 years. That's a steel area.

Trump also can't get crushed in the Philly suburbs with the upper middle class whites.

Fracking takes place in Northern PA, where there are no people. I guess the people who do the actual fracking move to Northern PA to frack. There is basically nothing north of Williamsport, and Williamsport is basically about the middle of the state. Strong GOP area, but not many people.
