Sorry, Internet technology was pioneered by the Boomer generation. Generation X provided a lot of improvement and optimization, but the original ideas and technology were part of the Aegis Project, which itself came from analyzing combat results from Pacific WW2 ship battles. That got rolled into ARPAnet and again into the Internet.
