Maybe 15 mins back PT News showed playback of the incident in Portland just a little while ago where a dude pulled a gun. It was all caught on livestream. PT dude said he downloaded it from the livestream. The "gunman" dude was trying to record with his phone, and the mob got pissed off and was blocking his view, and it turned into shoving and screaming. It appears maybe someone smacked the phone out of his hand and they shoved him down as he tried to pick it up. He got up and he drew his handgun and pointed it at the attackers, then turned and ran as everyone chased after him. After a block or two he realized several were still behind him so he walked while they continued screaming in his face until eventually the PD caught up with him. I think he was happy to see PD, as he completely cooperated as they took him into custody.

The video should have all the playback from the time they pushed him until the time he was taken into custody. PT News picked up on the 2nd half live but he says he now has the whole thing downloaded and said he will make it available as evidence.

The video I saw clearly shows he was acting in his own defense, and to his credit, he didn't end up shooting anyone in the mob of people that chased him down and surrounded him. If PD hadn't showed up when they did, he might've had to shoot someone.
