Was seeking truth and confronted with the idea that Jesus being Lord was waiting for me to accept that fact. Which I did accept that except not for me because I wanted to be. Long story short—for about a week during this struggle I kept hearing the word Ezekiel in my mind which led to learning of the book Ezekiel in the Old Testament. About the 3rd or 4th night into reading it, my heart broke and I surrendered. Something happened on the inside of me I couldn't explain other than I could see and hear clearly with my heart for the first time. Wasn't a church go'er before that and never got religious though I did start to pay attention to some people who the Spirit hi-lighted to me.
