>>10091707 This remembers me of a time I was in Crete with my ex and another couple. We had decided to take the scooter bikes up to the caves of Milatos. While we were walking up the stairs to the main entrance of the Cave, an older creepy looking guy was walking downwards. Ashe approached he said "I would not go up there if I was you's. There is a lot of bats." We said we would be fine and he had a glare about him. When we got to the entrance of the cave there was a piece of cardboard with a story about how the Turks had invaded Crete with the British and had slaughtered al the men on the beach, only to then slaughter the women and children in the caves. When we entered the cave there was bones everywhere. Eeerie as fuck. I often wondered later if it was a sacrificial site and that old creepy bastard left that 'story' as a cover for the bones lying about as this attack happened in 1870ish I believe. There was also a Chapel built in the cave which obviously sets alarm bells ringing.

>>10092133 Yeah man. Place is packed with symbolism. I will never forget reading 'The food of the gods' by Terrence Mckenna beside the pool. Turned the page to find the start of a whole chapter about Crete and the mythical stories involving snakes and mushrooms. He started to talk about a temple shaped like a mushroom. When I took the book down to look up the mountains, it was literally right in front of me. Total synchronicity. It was mental. All in all it's a beautiful island but you sense a very dark past, especially with the Minataur/Moloch shit. How the fuck can that NOT be sketchy shit? Kmao. You also have a Valley of the KIngs. Crazy place anon.
