For sniping, try a .17 caliber. Wind is damn near irrelevant. Accurate AF. Nice to pop such things as heads, cctv, transformers, of course only if the need arises.
Sounds cheezy as fuck small caliber, but it will punch a clean hole thru plate steel of an atm vault. (hollowpoint best).
