Morning guys, I've been thinking a lot about this time capsule the Bush's buried in the Rose garden. I know they are into witchcraft so I'm thinking they buried more than mementos out there. The article said the ceremony was suppose to be public but got changed to private at the last minute. Barbara Bush telling the kids they didn't know where the cornerstone was seems fishy also. I don't believe the freemasons don't have specs on that building.

I own an old building myself, when the cornerstone was laid, over a hundred years ago there was a box put inside of it. I wonder what is in the Whitehouse cornerstone box? Did the Bushes take it?

In 1950, to celebrate the city's sesquicentennial, a proposal was made to take the plate out, examine it and seal it up again. The Washington Post in an editorial protested the plan.

Scouten, who was on President Truman's Secret Service team at the time, said Truman was against "disturbing the stone unnecessarily."

The Truman remodelers did find a marble box holding an empty Hunter's Baltimore Rye bottle under the main entrance hall beneath the slab ornamented with an ellipse of bronze stars, where it had been carefully set on Dec. 2, 1902, during the Theodore Roosevelt remodeling.

Truman made them put it back.
