It depends where you live. In my area, the doctors do not prescribe opioids due to gov pressure.

After a bad accident, I suffered in horrible pain 24/7 for over a year. The doctors wouldn't prescribe me anything strong enough to even curb it. I almost killed myself and thought plenty of times about taking heroine.

It pisses me off that the gov and others think one size fits all in everything. Get the fuck out of our medical care. There are plenty of real chronic pain sufferers who are being punished because you're obsessing over a small number who die from opioid overdoses. Why don't you focus instead on the causes of why so many Americans are unhappy that they're turning to destructive ways to escape?
