An anon pointed out several days ago, that with the funding going directly from USA Federal gov instead thru the WHO intermediary, we now have visibility into exactly how the money is being spent and where it's going. And the ability to withdraw funding if we don't like what we see. When the money was funnelled through WHO it was used for who knows what nefarious purposes with no transparency.
