I feel like I'm having deja vu on this hyroxychloroquine. Every week, more deja vu.

I thought we should've been able to solve this one in March.

I was one of the people here doing the research and posting it, before Trump mentioned it.

It was clear in March - with the French study - that HCQ worked. It's not entirely clear how well it works, but it works, and it was recognized as safe for 60+ years.

I was saying in March that one solution would be to mail everyone a few HCQ pills. Apparently that preventative dose is pretty small.

I think that tonic water can be used to prevent. It's unclear, manufacturer by manufacturer, how much quinine is in tonic water, but if tonic water manufacturers can standardize the amount of quinine in tonic water, and the preventative dose could be established - how much quiinine = how much hydroxycholoroquine, it should be pretty simple to just drink tonic water. I've been drinking tonic water or bitter lemon for months now. Drinking tonic water and/or bitter lemon does tend to clear out the sinuses, better breathing. And I did get hearing loss, causing me to stop drinking the tonic water, and my hearing is back. That loss of hearing side effect is real, but it's temporary.
