If the blockchain can be used by the voter to verify their vote, there are 2 negative situations that can come out of this. 1) if someone could force you to verify in front of them (say at gunpoint) they might shoot you if they're dissatisfied with your vote. 2) you can prove to someone who you voted for and could therefor sell your vote
