Whatsup night shifters

Any of you like 5 anons other than myself planning on putting your name on local elections ballot? I would suggest looking into when the next election for (mayor, city council place, etc) is happening and getting in touch with your city secretary to request information, specifically "at what point might one be able to obtain and submit application for ones name to be on ballot for (position)?" And find out what type of local government is specified in your city charter.

I bring this up not only because im doing this out of principle, but the information i came across along the way. For example, there might be a (somewhat slightly) higher chance of having a council-manager plan; in which, a mayor is not "the executive branch" of the locale. The city manager is, in essence. So a lot of "tell the mayor blah blah police" and the like isnt necessarily the solution. Were anons aware of this? What about anons neighbors and general public?

"Probably not" i would assume at least to the latter. So it seems like a bunch of hoops for accountability. City employees (including police) answer to the city manager. City manager answers to the city council (to which the mayor is a part) who answers to the will of the people. (And chances are high of a low voter turnout towards these things anyway in comparison)

So if a bunch of shills and assholes are running your shit you gotta ask "whos REALLY running things" and put your fuckin name in.

So whats stopping anons? Getting cancelled"? Threats towards your family? I see these things as potential consequences, but "fuck around and find out" regarding my kids. Im still doing it. Im still being me and not a fraud. Im memeing my shit every day in local groups. Theres still 4 months before i can apply to have my name on the ballot. Not like ill get paid when i win.
