Question for anons. Something Trump said recently has been bugging me. He was asked at a presser what he would do if Congress didn't pass the latest China virus relief act. Trump said essentially he would take care of it.
How? I'm racking my brain, but I don't see anything that he could do. If he tries to just give Americans money to keep them afloat, that would violate the Constitution because only Congress can appropriate spending.
Then I thought how about a debt jubilee. That would benefit everyone in different ways, but it still doesn't solve the issue of people out of work and not bringing in any money.
Maybe I'm overthinking this right now. But it's just been bothering me what the hell Trump's got up his sleeve. Anyways, I just needed to get this off my chest. Have a great day everyone!
