Let`s say time travel is possible and someone journeyed to the time of Christ,became familiar with him, his family and perhaps his children. Letting things play out he simply protected the family and directed them to a place they could be safe and sit back and let the stories grow. Generations later the family heirs publicise their existence. Would knowing the truth of the Christ as the son of God change our world? And our time traveller how old would he be? I would imagine his biological life would be the same but his life would span thousands of years. Would he be a wiser man or would he be as Socrates once protested he was, a man of the common places and enjoys the pleasures and pains of a mostly ordinary life. Would he love a women, understand horror and in the end not have any interest in being remembered but enjoy the quiet and serenity of the Valley of the Blue Moon. I suspect soon he will run there. Knowing what is about to happen. And saving the best of mankind is all that is important now, as a new dark age descends upon mankind. Or who knows maybe return to the Feather River and placer Mine in some of the prettiest country on earth.
