Every so often a Hwood film becomes relevant study material. I stumbled on this little goldmine on YT by way of an algorithm suggestion. Mirage, noir/intrigue/thriller from 1965, was an adaptation of a 1952 novel titled, Fallen Angel. Those dates become relevant when you consider the central plot, which unfolds over the course of the film.

The basic story is about an accountant working in NYC who realizes he has amnesia, followed by the steps taken to figure out who he is. At the end of the film we learn he played a central role in a big international plan to establish "world peace." What makes this dig worthy is the big reveal, with all the corruption behind it, which is not all that different from what we know about present day cabal globalists, and their actual plans.

It may not come as a shock to anyone who understands who runs Hollywood that Mirage's director, screenwriter and original novelist were among those investigated (even jailed in the case of the director) for their ties to communism. That they knew this subject matter (using the peace movement as a ruse for power and money) so well way back then is telling. This corruption (currently displayed by the D party) is an old game.

Because the central peacenick leader in the film is not portrayed as a hero, one could argue the director/screenwriter were merely playing to an audience, projecting the impression they have learned from their past mistakes (embracing communism), while continuing to earn a living, stay embedded within Hollywood, and wait for the next opportunity to stab America in the back.

It is also possible the ant-hero peacenick leader was used by the film makers as an example of what not to do. In other words, "Stay true to the goal of glorious Communism! Don't fall into the trap of western capitalism. The corruption on display is what happens when your ideals mingle with capitalism. When we have complete control, only then will true glorious socialism shine brightly."

The fun dig for me has been determining who among the film's creators was the true cabalist, aka the handler, and who were the useful idiot true believers?
