The board can be too hard on people's history. Every leader who is not fresh off the bus had to exist and survive within a system that was nearly 100% compromised. No one is spotless. Assange fought the system openly and has been imprisoned in the Ecuadoran Embassy. Others who tried died. Being suspicious and skeptical of all of the sellswords in the world is a good stance, but if the last 6 months has taught me anything, its that no matter how sure I am that I'm correct about something, I need to be open to the possibility that I am wrong.
