I was marched out to the woods at gun point, ordered on my knees, and with a gun to the back of my head.. I was told I was going to be die.
In that moment I said a very similar prayer… In my heart I said, "Father you are in control.. If I am to die tonight be here with me.. I don't want to be alone."
It was all in an instant.. but immediately after I finished that prayer PEACE rained down on me and I no longer felt fear or pain.
