Due to the requirements for electronic records, my long-time family doctor finally retired rather than have to put up with that. Simultaneously, so did a lot of others. Had a hard time finding a doc that would accept new patients as a result even though my family had excellent health insurance. Just too few MDs remaining in the local area. Never ever had a problem with bad guys accessing my info while it was on paper, but have experienced several data breaches once electronic.
