"PERHAPS most of you have never heard of Qanon (pronounced “kiu anon”).

I explain briefly: Qanon is a conspiracy theory that appeared in 2017 on an internet forum. It was posted by a user called just “Q”. The reference to the letter would be because that anonymous user (and hence the name “anon”) would have privileged access to national security information through the Q Clearance Patriot ?, a degree of hierarchy that allows access to the highest secrets of the Department of Energy of the United States of America - which takes care, among other things, of part of the American nuclear program.

At the forum, Qanon basically declared that Donald Trump discovered a secret plan for world domination that would involve people like Obama, the Clintons and George Soros, Hollywood artists, journalists, bankers and politicians from around the world who would be interested in supplanting national governments and controlling the humanity. These people, too, would be part of a worldwide sect that would practice Satanism and pedophilia.

I know you are thinking this is crazy (and it is) but you may also be making the fundamental mistake that smart guys expect you to make: stop reading this text and ignore it all as being 'crazy stuff'. This is where we die.

This theory is not just crazy. It has disastrous practical effects on public life and - that's what I want to talk about - it came with force in Brazil. Want to see?

Last Sunday I talked about Qanon on my networks , how pedophilia was being used as a weapon to destroy reputations and showing that the profiles on the internet that spread it did too - and here you look astonished as if you don't know what I'll write next - advertisement for Jair Bolsonaro. In the following days, Xuxa, Luciano Huck and Felipe Neto were called pedophiles by the criminal hordes of the Brazilian extreme right. Not by chance, everyone, each in his own way, had taken a stand against Bolsonaro. Afterwards, they were immediately accused without evidence.

I received for zap, for example, an excerpt from Xuxa's erotic video, that 80's film (a fictional film, to be clear). I asked my contact what it was. He just told me it was a “current” video (a lie) and then he started talking about pedophilia and the left. In the same week, a profile with thousands of followers on Twitter and that manages a group of Telegram with almost 40 thousand people (I will not give the link) stated the following:"
