THIS!!! This is how I ended up here! I was a lifelong registered Democrat who had voted straight-ticket Dem. in every election since 1979. I voted for Bernie in the primary. A group of others and I kept REPEATEDLY getting banned from Dem. message boards, the first being democraticunderground. This started in 2015. All of the Bernie supporters were banned systematically.
A large group of us formed another forum to support Bernie. Some of our groups served as delegates at the Dem. convention. They posted daily reports about the suppression and corruption they saw. The day the convention ended, even our new forum became divided. The "owners" of the forum decided that we should do as Bernie asked and support HRC. This is despite the fact that Bernie had previously said, "If I EVER tell you who to vote for, don't listen to me!" Many of us wanted to support Jill Stein in the election, but found our thread repeatedly locked and were told that we needed to support the candidate that Bernie was endorsing. So we left to find another home.
A much smaller group formed another forum, but after the election, we became divided into two groups: those who wanted to give Trump the benefit of the doubt and wait to see what he would do … and those who were anti anything Trump. It was on this forum that someone DMed me about 4chan because they were digging on that massacre at the Bataclan club in Paris. That's how I found my way here, but every step of the way, it was the "owners" of each forum that either banned dissenters or just made it so we couldn't post anything so we'd leave.
I would be THRILLED if info came out showing this wasn't just a few power-hungry board owners, but an organized operations from the DNC itself.
I live in a blue state, am not registered as a Republican, but will be voting Republican in November for the first time in my life.
