thing is it gets into your eyes by way of touching them with your fingers. its not just floating around and entering your eyes while you're out and about. so goggles would kinda do the same thing masks do, collect bacteria and viruses every time you touch it with your hands while being in contact with points of entry, increasing your chances of infection. masks can serve a purpose for some people during a pandemic, but its mostly just about the DS destroying our humanity so that we only see each other as faceless drones, killing our empathy towards each other.
