I quit baking 2 years ago, having baked 500+ breads. The bakers became an ideological cult and what you see today is their crafted opinions. Freedom on the boards went way down hill.

Baking class became a filter for the cult. They coordinate on discord and pretend like they don’t know one another.
Baker used to assemble q posts, notables and make a fun name for cb. Now the cult will spam new breads and delete others if some one out side their discord group bakes.
I mostly see e bakes and ghosts the next morning. The cult has trouble covering night shift in my time zone but I’m asleep. During the day, forget it. They spam everytime I bake.
