COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Police say an argument over COVID-19 social distancing led to a fistfight in a Colorado Springs Walmart between two women.

The Gazette reports one of the women complained that the other was not staying 6 feet away in the store on Friday, according to Colorado Springs police.

Police say an argument ensued and the first woman threw the other to the floor. Police say the woman, whose name was not released, was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault.

Health experts recommend people try to stay at least 6 feet (about 2 meters) away from each other to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

STUPID IDIOT

100 Laptops Stolen From School

SAN FRANCISCO—On July 28, a burglar stole 100 laptops from St. Thomas the Apostle School around 1 a.m. The laptops were meant to be distributed to children without access to a computer at home and participating in distance learning.

Parts of the school were damaged, as rooms were left in disrepair and the computer cart was pushed down a flight of stairs, opening its lock. A member of the parent-teacher group told ABC7 News that the burglar “ate all of the food faculty room that has been there since March.” Marshmallows and popsicles from the school’s reserve were found dispersed on the floor.

The same day, around a dozen laptops were discovered at a nearby bus stop, and returned to the school by an unidentified person.

St. Thomas Apostle School has set up a donation website for support. According to the page, donations will fund supplies and equipment such as sanitizing wipes, fans, sanitation stations, and desk partitions to help the school reopen safely.

Yes, in person voting is the only way, with absentee ballots being permitted and counted later or as soon as needed if there is a close or contested election. I think the machines are fairly reliable, which isn't grate but you get to put the ballot into the machine and you wait for the confirmation message. Remember that the POTUS "win" always comes down to a few states. This is where the focus needs to remain.
