Any military fags around? California anon here, twice this week I have seen convoys of military vehicles rolling West on Hwy 58 between Barstow and Bakersfield basically along Edwards AFB north fence. I assume they are out of Yermo but I don't know what military branch they were so assuming poorly. First day was a group of four 8x8 vehicles that resemble strykers but I believe are rear engine as they were on the side of the road with what I thought was a rear engine cover open looking at it. I saw them rolling later and what caught my attention was that they all had a spotter on top and guns mounted. It is fucking hot so I might ride on top too but the lead vehicle spotter had field glasses up watching ahead. Next day I saw a group of three with a support truck. Also rolling with spotters on top and guns mounted, support truck was tan/desert. Other oddity was that the 8x8 vehicles were woodland camo and not desert camo which most convoys in the area are. Not sure what I saw and don't have pics because they were rolling in opposite direction but guns mounted and spotters on top were unusual to me, never seen before in more than 10 years in the area.

Not sure where they would be headed then. Still find it odd I had the impression they were rolling hot or active.
Maybe they are just out testing? It's been a hot week. Desert validation testing?
