I adore the southern cross on the Aussie flag even if it includes the 7 pointed star of ISIS. I've spent countless nights gazing up at the beauty of the Centaur and marveled at the rich & ancient mythology of that wonderful constellation.
To me, it represents Australia's unique position in the southern hemisphere and an outward looking mentality…hopes of one day travelling among the stars.
They might have corrupted astrology with their wicked rituals but that will never diminish my personal relationship with nature.
