Had first CV19 related incident yesterday.

Spouse anon injured at work last week. Woke up Sat morning, injury looked infected. Went to Urgent Care. Sent to ER. Called me from ER said being taken by ambulance to another hospital, 29 miles away, for emergency surgery. Arrived at hospital 20 mins after spouse. Hospital would not let me in, couldn't see spouse, couldn't talk to doctor. Hospital was dead, dead, dead. Two of 4 ladies at front admissions wearing mask over mouth, not nose. Was told only pregnant women and minors allowed visitors. I asked what the difference was between them and my spouse having surgery. Shrugged shoulders. Told them their policies only tell me that "these" (masks) don't work. Spouse had surgery, called me several hours later to let me know what was going on. Spent 8 terrified hours I would receive call from hospital telling me spouse diagnosed with CV19. Hope to get spouse home today. The whole experience was frustrating and terrifying.

Follow up. Just spoke with spouse. Apparently, they did a chest xray prior to giving anaesthetising her prior to surgery. Injury is to hand! They have tried twice to do a CT scan due to an "abnormality" in her chest. She has said no twice, this is a work comp claim and they are not going to pay for a CT scan. Told spouse to continue saying no, will follow up with own doctor. I'm leaving now to the hospital to get her discharged. This is BULLSHIT!!
