Because you don't understand how political campaign financing works. Accepting money does not obligate one to perform, especially when the donations are small. Big tech gives money to everybody - Repubs and Dems alike - because they believe it hedges their bets and allows influence regardless of who's in power. Nearly all major businesses do this, and if Jordan doesn't accept the money then his opponents will.
As Ron Paul once said, he'll take money from anybody, and they should understand that in donating it, they're not changing any of his positions. Only fools would turn the money down.
