Barack Obama’s Half Brother Says He’s ‘110 Percent’ Behind Donald Trump, Slams The Former President

Former President Barack Obama’s half-brother Malik Obama said that he is completely behind President Donald Trump in the upcoming election and slammed his sibling as “ruthless,” “cold,” and needing to be “worshiped.”

Malik Obama spoke with the New York Post via Skype from his home in Nyang’oma Kogelo, Kenya as he promotes his new book, Big Bad Brother from Kenya. The Kenyan famously put his support behind Trump in the 2016 race, appearing at campaign events and vocally supporting the then-candidate Trump on social media. He told the news outlet that he continues to support Trump despite Barack’s recent reported criticism because Trump is “tough.”

“[I’m] 110% still with Trump,” Malik Obama said. “He’s not fake. He tells us the way he sees it. He’s bold and fearless and he’s tough.”

He also told the Post that he thought former Vice President Joe Biden wasn’t fit to step into the Oval Office given his age and health.

“I don’t think he’s going to make it. His teeth are falling off,” he said. “He looks like he’s going to drop dead.”

Of his brother, who is a large focus of his recently-released book, he says that as he gained fame and power in the U.S., he became snobbish.

WASHINGTON—Suddenly standing up and ending the interview as the conversation took a more heated turn, former President Barack Obama reportedly stormed out of a taping of The Michelle Obama Podcast Friday after the host continually pressed him on his administration’s drone use policy. “Hey, this is a complete ambush and I don’t have to just sit here and take it,” said the ex-commander in chief, slamming the door of the studio on his way out before returning a few minutes later to continue cussing out Michelle Obama for what he viewed as “unfair ‘gotcha’ questions” about his controversial implementation of over 500 drone strikes during his presidency. “This was supposed to be a nice, low-key chat and you just spring all these accusations on me, none of which were on the pre-approved list of questions. You think this kind of bullshit is how you make a name for yourself in this business? Well guess what, Michelle? You fucked up! Good luck booking any more big-name guests after pissing off the fucking 44th president of the United States.” At press time, a visibly angry Obama was sitting in the car outside the studio, waiting for Michelle to finish so they could drive home together.

JERUSALEM (AP) — The Israeli military said it intercepted a rocket fired by Palestinian militants from the Gaza Strip on Sunday night in a rare attack punctuating months of relative calm.

Air raid sirens sounded in the southern Israeli city of Sderot. The military said the Iron Dome missile defense system downed an incoming rocket. There were no reports of casualties, but Israeli media reported damage to a vehicle. Sunday’s attack was the first case of rocket fire from the Palestinian enclave in nearly a month. In early July, Gaza militants fired three rockets toward Israel, resulting in no casualties.

A Portland, Ore. woman was shot and wounded in a hail of 150 bullets on Saturday night — and neighbors are blaming police reform as violent crimes rise in the city, according to reports.

Police did not tie the shooting to the demonstrations — with one resident telling Fox that it likely had more to do with strained police resources and defunding law enforcement.

“They had a gang violence task force that are no longer funded, which is unfortunate because as soon as that defunding happened all of this really peaked up,” resident Kemoh Sulimani told the station.

Another resident of the apartment complex called it “a war zone.”

“This is America and it’s a war zone with 150 shots in an apartment complex close to a Christian university,” Aragon Marks told Fox. “How can we explain that?”

Police Chief Chuck Lovell said called the numbers were “not acceptable,” and said he moved detectives from an “already diminished patrol” unit to help handle the influx of homicides — 15 shooting or stabbing deaths in July.

Lovell said he believes disbanding of the department’s Gang Enforcement Team team was partly responsible for the rise in violence.

But Portland City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty, who pushed for the disbanding of the gang unit, said she did not believe that the move was behind the recent increase in violence.

“I don’t think it’s a staffing issue, and no matter how often they say they’re overworked and underpaid, the reality is that Portland police have for a long time decided what they will investigate and what they won’t,” Hardesty said.
