To all smart people, and those who want to become smart. This PB notable is misinformation. The linked "news" video declaring the imminent collapse of the 3 Gorges Dam based on distorted satellite images is disinformation. The images do not represent the actual condition of the dam's current structural integrity. There's are many practical, rational, logical explanations for how and why satellite images can become distorted, especially when based on a composite of different images. Spend enough time looking at (insert chosen map service) satellite images, and you will often see that distortion. At the same time, there exist a Gabillion recent/current contrasting images that show the ACTUAL dam appearance. Live video feeds, for one. For as much as many of us would like to see that dam fail, the distorted images are not an indication this is about to happen based on those images.

I equate those who do believe the distorted images to be real to those who believed in the story of the Thousands Of Children Being Rescued From Beneath NYC And Being Treated In Central Park Tents back when the Covid 19 scare took off. Same willingness to believe that which isn't true. We're better than that, aren't we? We need reality based information, not disinformation!

Yes, Photoshop/manipulation is also a factor. Point being the whacky distorted images are not an indication of actual reality, which can be proven with current contrasting images, as well as common sense when applied to large concrete structures (hint: concrete doesn't bend like that).

You have proof the water has shifted the dam? Based on what?
