New form of censorship on twitter?
Has anyone else notice the following?
-
When you are not logged into your twitter account, you see certain replies to the tweets of some accounts, say Bernie Sanders.
-
When you log into your account, those replies do not appear, you see other replies instead.
-
If you use 2 browsers, one not logged in (browser A) and one logged in (browser B), you pick the url of one of the replies in browser A, reply to it in browser B, and POOF, the reply DISAPPEARS from browser A!
-
If you delete your reply in browser B, POOF, the message you replied to before deleting reappears instantly in browser A!
-Is twitter pre-populating the replies to the messages of certain accounts with ready-made replies, that instantly disappear from view as soon as someone replies to them, so that regular people that browse twitter without logging in only see preapproved replies to specific accounts?
It only happens for certain accounts (so far, I've seen it happen for certain politicians [e.g. Bernie Sanders @SenSanders] and journalists [e.g. Yamiche Alcindor @Yamiche]).
