unless you dont consider a supercritical c02 extraction setup outside of the reach of your average normie, i'd say it qualifies as a bar to entry high enough to preclude cinchona bark as a source of chloroquine. i thought i was clever when i found out you can buy the bark online but its out of my reach given the cost of actually extracting it.

do you understand why there's a synthesizable version of CQ? it's because extracting it has notoriously little yield. you will never consume 1000mg a day of chloroquine a day eating bark and until you address that elephant in the room you didn't address the intention of the original question. eating 20 pounds of cinchona bark a day is not a solution that has any practical use.
