I didn't know about some of the buildings, ruins of a citidel or some such.
Anyway, as is typicall when I'm doing my 'virutal touring' of the world during quarantine, I was looking at a maps program.
at some point I saw a feature that said 'look at a time lapse of this.'
so I said 'OK< that's cool.'
and it showed the Island of Rhodes in arial photo view over time.
what was stricking was how much port building they were doing over a period of years.
