Housing isn't some fundamental right. But we spend shittons on things that aren't fundamental rights. Like K-12 education. We could get rid of that.
It does seem to me that we can drop a bunch of trailers on vacant land. The US has a shitton of vacant land.

They don't want any cures for anything.
Our laws in the US are garbage.
The entirety of our health care system is reliant on things invented by humans by corporations who have enough money to test.
There is no Big Zinc. Our laws require expensive testing.
We could
1) stop requiring expensive tests
and/or
2) have the Federal Government pay for the expensive tests.
Our laws have been trash for 100 years in this matter.
