HOREE SHIT. Anon had his first encounter an angry person about my not wearing a mask. It was my urologist! Had and appointment this afternoon. Show up and the outside windows were plastered with bold signs saying '''NO ONE CAN ENTER WITHOUT A MASK. I open the first door, enter an entryway, cracked open the second door and said: I don't have a mask.
The receptionist was very close. She said something and I tucked my head in. She said I can buy on at Walmart. I said my appointment is NOW. She said I need to go get a mask. I said I have reasons why I can't wear a mask. I said, hey look, all I have to do is give a pee sample. She said the doctor wants to see me. I said we can talk on the phone.
At that point I heard another voice, then the nurse came towards me, asked me why I can't. I'm in the waiting room now. I started explaining things and another nurse came out and gave me a mask. I said, yes, I can wear it for a 15 minutes. Waited in my car for 20 minutes and was called in.
Peed in a cup, the nurse took a blood sample, left, and my doctor came in the room. He took 2 minutes to tell me he's happy with my PSA level of 3 months ago, but he wants it to get down to zero. Then he asks me why I don't wear a face mask. I told him I am a hermit, I live alone, only go the the supermarket (didn't mention my daily run to the corner to pick up 2 tall ones). And I maintain a 6 ft. social distance and if I have to come closer to someone then I hold my breath as I pass by. I also said I'm a nose breather so all the stuff I breath out fall down.
I could see he was tensing up. He actually gave me that I'm telling everyone that I don't care about them at all line. He said those particles I'm breathing out are floating in the air throughout the whole marked. I said: and how big are those particles? He knew he was screwed, he threw out his arms and said: I know, microns.
I said: No. less than 0.01 microns and those particles are going through the mask you are wearing right now. He said: some of them, caught himself, stuttered and said he doesn't want to talk about it anymore because he's getting very upset about it. I shut up. But my own doctor pulled a hell of a Karen on me.
