It would be great to get some comprehensive data somewhere. Since CV19 it's very hard to locate and databases don't seem updated.

But with all due respect, those causes of death are not "catching" in the way a virus is. I don't think we should lock down the country, no. In Texas 2917-2018 flu season there were more than 11,000 deaths (cited here many times). No lock down. No school closures. But comparing a virus that anyone can catch to those who voluntarily smoke is apples and oranges.
