Finally dug up some seismograph images of the explosion today in Beruit.

Some historical seismograph images for known nuclear test detonations.

The nuclear and chemical explosions both show a sudden spike in P-waves (Pn via the crust and mantle; Pg via crust alone). Both have weak to non-existent shear waves (Lg). Rayleigh waves emerge from shallow a source like a nuclear test; usually not from an earthquake or chemical explosion. In the earthquake, the pressure waves arrive later, and the shear waves (Lg) are strong. The chemical explosion (equal to about two tons of TNT), produced little or no shear waves (Lg). The chemical explosion resembles the nuclear explosion, but produced 50 times less earth movement.

Anon was analyzing this as a fertilizer explosion. But another anon mentioned the initial flash and thought it was a nuke. Found this video from sea level out on the water. And the initial flash of detonation can be seen. It does seem very energetic and widespread in area.

If you watch closely the flash can be seen to stretch across pretty much the width of the frame. What anon does not see is the video image degradation that anon has read is characteristic of a nuclear detonation. The high energy particles are said to cause video noise in an electronic recording. The tweeted graph seems to this anon to display Rayleigh waves in the Y (yellow) graph line. As for seismic waveforms, anon will echo Q. Think for yourself. POTUS is saying that it was an attack during today's press briefing. Saying that his Generals have advised him as much.

Link from tweet seems to have been scrubbed and sanitized?

I'm archiving everything offline. The link in that guy's tweet seems to have already been scrubbed. Advise anons to do same with their research on this incident. Information VERY likely to start disappearing online. POTUS said it was an attack. So of that much we can be certain.

>That is a great video of the explosion

Yes it is anon. Chosen primarily because it is at sea and you can view the initial flash at ground level. No buildings in the way. Don't know how much you about nuclear weapons, but if this a nuclear detonation, and I'm beginning to think that it is, then it is a somewhat inefficient one. In other words, the first bright flash is the really efficient part. Then process seems to fall apart as the dirty red cloud emerges. Maybe it is a fertilizer explosion. But the extremely brief bright flash troubles me to no end. It seems to pass through solid objects and illuminate distant surfaces. Instead of looking directly at the explosion, look to right and left at the time of the flash and you will see what I mean. High energy particles of the nuclear variety is what I am thinking. God help those poor people if that is the case. If it was a nuke, and I wish it were not, then there is no way they will be able to hide the unique sorts of physical effects that will manifest on the population. No way to sweep it under the rug. No way. God I hope I'm wrong and that it really is a fertilizer explosion. But like I said. The flash troubles me to no end.

Here is a gif of the explosion. But for analysis the mp4 in my post above is better.

Not if it is inefficient and smaller anon. We'll know soon enough. There will be no way to hide it if it was.

>Dirty nuke?

That's what I am thinking. Anon's need to understanding that designing and building an efficient nuclear device is an extremely complex and costly process. A less efficient one is possible though. And I'm afraid that is what we are seeing here. Enough force was imparted on the fissionable material to induce critical mass. But the force was not symmetrical enough to sustain a full reaction. So the process fell apart and went non-critical shortly after detonation. Like I said above. I hope I'm wrong. But we will know soon enough. There will be no way to hide the casualties. Radiation burns and sickness will be just to numerous in such a heavily populated location. Impossible to sweep under the rug.

There were birds flying around in most of the videos. They were disturbed by the first smaller explosion that caused so many camera to pointed at the white cloud before the main detonation. Anon believes this is a bird. Will need heavy strong sauce to change my mind on this. You other anons are entitled to, of course, think what you want.
