I remember Timothy McVay (patsy) and the DS fed building op. We we're told all about ammonium nitrate and how it was stable until mixed with diesel.
I used to load peoples cars with it as lawn fertilizer back in the day. Pretty sure it is not explosive by itself.
Since it was "abandoned" by a "russian" and seized, this is sounding much more intentional. I'll never believe it was an accident.
