He was the one with the most to lose out of the 29 people. Think of what he's done in 40 years of politics. Nancy/Chi-Fi love him and picked him because he was the one they knew they had more on than he had on them, or the same. Think about all the other candidates, they're all younger, less years of opportunity to be the biggest traitors of their country. Nancy, DiFi knew that Biden would accept stepping aside and letting Nancy take the reins, entirely. That plus given his "fake" mental health, they already have an easy out for getting him out of the picture entirely.
