Unveiling the inner workings of the banking system is good for everyone.

The bank does not have to record a loss on your INABILITY TO PAY.

If they really think that you will eventually make good, then they will carry a loan much longer than most people realize.

I expect that the long term effect of this will be new laws regarding banking and new ways for people to avoid foreclosures and repossessions.

Think of it this way. If the bank charges zero interest, who suffers? Only the bank suffers and they only suffer lower profits. But the community and the economy (which represents the community) does not lose out. The bank loan still exists, time passes, the borrower resolves their problems, and repayment of the loan occurs on a longer schedule. There is no LOSS of the loan money. There is no damage to the economy. There is greater stability and predictability.

Some elements of the current War Economy will continue into the new normal, because Trump wants to a) rebuild America, and b) be the number one player in space colonization.

I also expect that we will discover new drugs that can actually stop physical addictions so that people can get back into productive and happy lives faster.

That roaring noise was the Ammonium Nitrate burning and sending up that billowing cloud of smoke. It is not easy to get Ammonium Nitrate to explode but it burns noisily because each molecule is releasing oxygen so there is lots of expansion to gas going on. This expansion lifts up lots of hot Ammonium Nitrate into the cloud. When something beside it explodes, maybe even a propane tank on a forklift, then the whole cloud explodes in a fuel-air explosion.

After the explosion, a white cloud emerges from it. Watch videos of ANFO explosions or Nitropril explosions. After the explosion, there may be a black or brown cloud of debris, but a cloud of white smoke will emerge and spread out.

In Beirut the white cloud was so prominent because it was such a large amount of Nitropril in one place, and so little debris relative to the 2700 tons of explosive.
