I think I have the midterm "loss" figured out.

The "Pelosi" plan by delaying the election is only really on the table if the Dems already control the house. If they're still in the minority, it's more complicated. Yes, they could lose the majority, but it's not something they'd think about if she wasn't already speaker. (Think about how they convince their backers that the plan will work.)

What they've missed is this: while the President's term ends Jan 20, the Cabinet's does not. Cabinet members usually resign to allow the incoming President the ability to appoint their own; but they don't have to.

Pelosi is as mentally incompetent as Biden.

How long until Trumps Cabinet removes Pelosi as acting President under the 25th Amendment?

And, when that happens… who becomes acting President?
