About 1:10 her lights go out (if you pay attention to the wall, you can see it–it's day time, so its subtle on screen) and she mentions it "Not sure why my lights just went out, but" and continues.

Lights out feels like comms–and I'm not thinking they were comms to Yates but rather that Yates was the medium for the comms.
