US Attorney John Durham’s probe is nearing a conclusion. According to reports Durham as asked to interview former corrupt CIA Director John Brennan.

John Brennan knows he is in the cross-hairs of the Durham investigation into the Russia collusion hoax, used as an excuse to spy on the Trump campaign and Trump administration.

Durham, the federal prosecutor from Connecticut appointed by Attorney General William Barr to investigate the origins of the Crossfire Hurricane inquiry and to scrutinize the conduct of the law enforcement leaders and intelligence officials involved in it, has asked to interview Brennan, according to “people familiar with the request” cited by NBC News, and the former top spy and vociferous Trump critic has reportedly agreed to the sit-down. The same report cites sources who suggest Durham’s inquiry may be nearing the finish line.

Brennan has acknowledged that he is in the “crosshairs” of the criminal inquiry into the Russia investigation led by Durham. He recently claimed, and the White House acknowledged, that he asked the CIA for his official records, including his personal notes and any classified CIA documents that he had signed to help him write his upcoming memoir, but the agency denied his request.

Last year, the New York Times reported that Durham asked for Brennan’s electronic communications, phone records, and other documents from the CIA, something NBC News confirmed on Wednesday.

Microsoft Reportedly Expands Scope Of TikTok Deal Talks To Cover Entire Ex-China Business

Updates about the ongoing deal talks between Microsoft and ByteDance are arriving almost as rapidly as updates about the ongoing negotiations between the White House and Congressional Democrats over an extension of financial relief for American citizens and businesses.

And the latest report comes from the FT, which says that Microsoft and ByteDance are now looking at the possibility of buying all of TikTok's global operations, including in India and Europe, not just the US-facing business, along with the business in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Microsoft said Sunday night that it was looking into buying TikTok's US operations, along with those based in "Canada, Australia, and New Zealand."

Microsoft is chasing a deal to buy all of TikTok’s global business, including the viral video app’s operations in India and Europe, according to five people with knowledge of the talks. The US software company said on Sunday it was in negotiations with ByteDance, the Chinese owner of TikTok, to explore “a purchase of the TikTok service in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand”. But Microsoft has since also pursued a plan that would include all countries where TikTok operates. TikTok does not operate in China, and such a deal would not extend to its China-facing sister app Douyin.

However, according to the FT, Microsoft's expanding ambitions are bumping up against a new obstacle - and we're not talking about President Trump's oblique demands for "key money" paid to the US Treasury: We're talking about Beijing.

Update (1140ET): James is starting off the hearing by detailing a state lawsuit against the NRA and seeking the dissolution of the pro-second amendment organization, one of several subjects she was expected to address today.

James alleges the the organization violated non-profit laws by diverting "millions of dollars away from the charitable mission of the organization for personal use by senior leadership," who awarded contracts that benefited friends and family. That would be a slam-dunk if she were going after politicians. But at a non-profit, things are more blurry.

BBG published an update on the lawsuit almost immediately, suggesting that the financial news organization - owned by a former mayor of NYC - had the story under embargo ahead of time. Here's a snippet from their reporting, which accuses NRA of "massive fraud".

New York is seeking to dissolve the National Rifle Associationas the state attorney general accused the gun rights group and four senior officials of engaging in a massive fraud against donors.

A sprawling lawsuit filed Thursday in state court in Manhattan alleges the NRA diverted charitable donations for years to enrich the organization’s top executives in violation of laws governing nonprofits, New York Attorney General Letitia James said in a statement. The state is also demanding millions of dollars in restitution and penalties.

The case may pose one of the biggest legal threats the NRA has faced since its founding in New York in 1871. The turmoil began with a power struggle last year between former NRA president Oliver North and longtime leader Wayne LaPierre, which led to allegations of self dealing. A subsequent state probe found wrongdoing blamed for more than $64 million in losses in the last three years alone, James said.

“The NRA’s influence has been so powerful that the organization went unchecked for decades while top executives funneled millions into their own pockets,” James, a Democrat, said in the statement. “The NRA is fraught with fraud and abuse.”

For those who aren't familiar, this is the culmination of what Trump once called "an illegal investigation" by Cuomo and the AG, which stems from a power struggle that rocked the NRA last year.

Twitter labels RT & Sputnik but NOT BBC, NPR & VOA as it launches blitz on state media staff & govt officials

Twitter has declared war on certain state-affiliated media entities, announcing accounts belonging to senior staff will be labeled and their tweets won’t be amplified or recommended. The BBC and US state-funded media are exempt.

The microblogging platform announced it will label accounts belonging to key government officials in countries on the UN Security Council, as well as accounts belonging to state-linked media outlets, their editors-in-chief and senior staff.

In a Thursday blog post, it warned it will no longer show tweets from state-linked media accounts on the home screen, notifications, or search.

The three mainstream TV networks — ABC, CBS, and NBC — completely skipped coverage of the bombshell dropped by former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates on Wednesday during her testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Yates said in the hearing that then-FBI Director James Comey went “rogue” when probing the incoming national security adviser Michael Flynn in January 2017.

“Instead of reporting on Yates’s shocking testimony, all three networks boasted how former Vice President Joe Biden decided to give his convention speech from the safety of his basement in Delaware,” the Media Research Center (MRC) reported. “In stark contrast, Fox News Channel’s The Story and correspondent Gillian Turner weren’t afraid to inform viewers of what Yates said.”

“Chairman Lindsey Graham dove in headfirst, grilling Sally Yates about that now-infamous Oval Office meeting with President Obama and FBI Director James Comey on January 5, 2017,” Turner noted before playing this soundbite of Graham getting Yates to spill about Comey:

MRC news analyst Nicholas Fondacaro noted that ABC, NBC and CBS also “blacked out how Comey conceded the FBI had deceived the FISA courts with their warrant applications” during a 2019 interview with “FOX News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace.

Of the omissions during the Yates testimony, Fondacaro said it is “another example of the broadcast networks covering up the degree of corruption in the Russia investigation.”

England to revise DOWN its Covid-19 death toll by up to 10 percent after bizarre ‘counting mishap’

Up to 10 percent of England’s coronavirus death toll could be wiped out due to reporting errors in which “Covid-19” deaths on the official register were logged months after positive tests regardless of the circumstances.

Public Health England currently counts the deaths of all people who have tested positive for Covid-19 among the coronavirus fatality total whether their death was related to the disease or not, an error which was noted in July, prompting the suspension of the daily death toll and an “urgent review” of protocol.

In other words, as many as 4,170 fatalities could be wiped off England’s current Covid-19 death toll of 41,686.

According to reports in UKmedia, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Matt Hancock will bring all coronavirus fatality reporting in line with Scotland and Northern Ireland public health models, wherein a death is marked as Covid-19-related only if it occurs within 28 days of a positive test.

“At the moment, the figures are just confusing,” said Professor Carl Heneghan from the Center for Evidence-Based Medicine at Oxford University.

“All it does is muddy the water. While deaths are falling in Scotland, PHE data suggests matters are worse in England.”

A second weekly measure which records fatalities within 60 days of positive coronavirus test results will also be introduced, with an official announcement expected later this week.

The news will add some much-needed clarity and uniformity to the UK’s mixed response to the pandemic, amid localized lockdowns, confusing government guidelines, and scattershot travel and quarantine restrictions.

Julian Assange has repeatedly said the documents did not come from Russia. And Robert Mueller interviewed hundreds of witnesses in his anti-Trump witch hunt but never got around to questioning Julian Assange who was the source of leaked DNC documents.

The parents of Seth Rich believe he had nothing to do with the leaked documents to Wikileaks.

They may not like what they find out.

A federal magistrate judge in New York requested assistance from a UK court on Aug. 5 in obtaining testimony from WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange for a U.S. civil lawsuit brought against Fox News and others by the parents of slain Democratic National Committee voter data director Seth Rich.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn requested the international assistance in accordance with the Hague Convention.

“In the proper exercise of its authority, this court has determined that the evidence cannot be secured except by the intervention of the English courts and that assistance from the English courts would serve to further the international interests of justice and judicial cooperation,” the judge wrote in a memorandum for the senior master of the Royal Courts of Justice.

35-Year-Old Florida Roofer Struck by Lightning Listed as Coronavirus Fatality

A 35-year-old Florida roofer struck by lightning in late May was listed as a Coronavirus fatality.

An investigative report by Alachua Chronicle revealed several Covid-19 death certificates with multiple co-morbidities.

A 35-year-old male who was struck by lightning on May 28 and died from serious spinal cord and brain injuries on June 9 was listed as a Dade County death from Coronavirus:

“The decedent was working on the roof of a home in Middleburg on 5/28. It started to rain and the decedent and his coworkers stopped working. Bystanders in the neighborhood and the workers on the roof observed a flash of lighting and heard a loud explosion, and several workers were thrown off of the roof. Immediately following the lightning strike, a worker on the roof observed the decedent collapse, fall off of the roof, and land facedown on grass.”

“The decedent’s muscles were reported to be contracted and shaking and caused the decedent’s body to roll over onto his backside. It was also reported by the workers that the decedent’s eyeballs were rolled back into his skull. Bystanders in the neighborhood observed the decedent on the ground, called 911, and started CPR until EMS arrived on scene.”

When the decedent was taken to Orange Park Medical Center he was found to have spinal fractures with spinal transection, a skull base fracture and pulmonary contusions.

‘Virtue signaling her way to reelection’: Michigan governor roasted online after declaring racism ‘PUBLIC HEALTH crisis’

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was accused of pandering to those engaged in identity politics, after she declared racism a “public health crisis” and said that everyone is plagued by unconscious bias.

The executive order signed by Whitmer on Wednesday mandates implicit bias training for all state employees. The ultimate goal is to build “a more inclusive and unbiased state that works for everyone,” the Democrat governor said.

Implicit, unconscious bias exists within each of us, and, as public servants, we have a duty to understand how our bias can impact the lives of others.

Another measure rolled out by Whitmer is to set up the Black Leadership Advisory Council to advise the state government.

The order drew mixed response online. Some Twitterati thought that the move was the right call and thanked the governor.

“I truly hope this helps people to not be racist/sexist on any side of the fence. We are all human. We shouldn’t be judging someone on race or sex or orientation,” one approving person wrote.

Others were skeptical that the order will make any actual difference, accusing Whitmer of “pandering and virtue signaling her way to reelection.”

“She can sign an executive directive declaring the moon is made of cheese, it obviously doesn’t make it so. She is clearly pandering to her base,” one Twitter warrior argued. People pointed out that implicit bias training is “ineffective” and a “waste of funding.”

An angry commenter wrote that Whitmer’s “white privilege” will “stop her from stepping down and turning the governor’s office over to a Woman of Color as is prescribed by the BLM leadership.”

People online also took offense with the governor claiming that all state employees are presumed to be biased in some way or the other. “Absolutely sickening. Does she really think so little of our health care workers that she believes they’re a gang of racists who mistreated black patients?” one Twitter user wrote.

‘Coming to a Hotel Near You?’ – Farage Releases Video of Migrants Being Loaded on Coaches at Dover

Nigel Farage released footage on Tuesday apparently showing illegal boat migrants being loaded onto coaches at the Port of Dover, as the UK Border Force brought over 100 more migrants ashore after crossing the English Channel from France.

The Brexit Party leader questioned whether the migrants will be moved to “a hotel near you” — a reference to an investigation Mr Farage carried out last week that uncovered a hotel in the West Midlands housing 147 asylum seekers at public expense while refusing to take bookings from native Britons.

On Tuesday, 120 migrants, including 12 women and 108 men, successfully reached British shores. The migrants presented themselves as coming from Pakistan, Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Afganistan, Kuwait, Sudan, and the Palestinian territories, according to The Times. Another 38 migrants were intercepted in the Channel and brought back to France.

There are an estimated 48,000 asylum seekers in the United Kingdom. They are typically given accommodation, a weekly stipend of at least £35.39, access to National Health Service (NHS) healthcare, and education for children between the ages of five and 17 — all at the expense of the British taxpayer.

It is estimated that between 2019 and 2029 the asylum programme will cost some £4 billion.

Mr Farage has warned that many of the rejected asylum seekers “will still stay in the country… picking fruit, working in the rag trade in Leicester or whatever it is. They will move into the illegal slave economy in this country.”

Between 2017 and 2019, the United Kingdom received 2,390 asylum seekers from other EU states under the bloc’s Dublin III regulations, yet has only successfully returned 786 who failed to gain refugee status.

The Dublin agreements, which require bogus asylum seekers to be returned to the first EU country they entered rather than the last one they were in prior to their rejection — usually France, in Britain’s case — supposedly in order to stop “asylum shopping” by migrants seeking the host with best benefits rather than settling in the first safe country they reach.

The problem is the first EU country the migrants enter is often impossible to determine, leaving countries stuck with them even after their asylum claims are found to be illegitimate.

The chairman of Migration Watch UK, Alp Mehmet, said: “The Dublin agreements have simply not worked for the UK. If anything they have backfired.”

“The EU scheme has resulted in almost three times as many people being transferred to the UK than have gone the other way,” Mehmet added.

Authors of Largest Gender 'Transition' Study Forced To Admit the Uncomfortable Truth

A 2019 study that painted a rosy picture of the mental health benefits for individuals who undergo gender reassignment surgery was wrong, its authors have said in a published correction.

The correction, published by the American Journal of Psychiatry, concluded that after reviewing how the original study’s numbers were crunched, “the conclusion that ‘the longitudinal association between gender-affirming surgery and lower use of mental health treatment lends support to the decision to provide gender-affirming surgeries to transgender individuals who seek them’ is too strong.”

In an Op-Ed published by the Heritage Foundation, Ryan T. Anderson wrote that the study’s authors now admit that “the results demonstrated no advantage of surgery in relation to subsequent mood or anxiety disorder-related health care.”

Most of the study’s information is behind a paywall.

Anderson also noted that life most certainly did not improve for those who received the treatment in at least one respect, quoting the study’s authors as now claiming that “individuals diagnosed with gender incongruence who had received gender-affirming surgery were more likely to be treated for anxiety disorders compared with individuals diagnosed with gender incongruence who had not received gender-affirming surgery.”

The correction is significant because when the study came out, it was ballyhooed to the skies.

“Sex-change operations yield long-term mental health benefits for transgender people,” Reuters headlined its report.

The wire service also included a comment from Dr. Joshua Safer, executive director at Mount Sinai Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery in New York City, who had written, “If anything, the study likely under-reports mental health benefits of medical and surgical care for transgender individuals.”

Others had been less kind, and the authors eventually went back to re-evaluate their work and publish the correction.

6th Mexican Journalist Dies in 2020

Gunmen killed a long-time photographer and college professor in Michoacán. The murder is the second of its kind in three days.

The murder took place in Uruapan when 29-year-old photojournalist Luis Eduardo Ochoa Aguilar was walking to a convenience store with a relative when he was held gunpoint, the Michoacán Attorney General’s Office revealed. The gunmen took them to a nearby park where they robbed them and subsequently shot Aguilar.

Aguilar taught at a local university and ran a private photo studio. The journalist previously worked for La Voz de Michoacán and La Opinion.

The murder is the second of its kind in three days. On Sunday morning, gunmen in Guerrero shot and killed Pablo Marrugares and his police bodyguard at a restaurant. The journalist had been the target of previous threats and violent attacks. Gunmen shot at least 55 times at Marrugares.

Two days later, gunmen shot at the entrance of the Diario de Iguala newspaper. While Marrugares did not work at that paper, El Diario’s parent company printed his publication. Authorities claimed gunmen shot at least 18 times at the front of the building

Female Los Zetas Cartel Enforcer Arrested on Drug Charges

A top enforcer for a faction of Los Zetas began her professional career as a police officer. She is now facing drug trafficking charges in the border city of Nuevo Laredo.

Known in the criminal underworld as “Teniente” or “Lieutenant,” Guadalupe Gomez Villarreal is considered by Mexican law enforcement as one of the top enforcers and key leaders within the Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas.

Troops from Mexico’s Army arrested Gomez Villarreal on Tuesday during a raid where they also arrested her love interest, Edna. The troops captured the crime boss by surprise. Authorities flew Gomez Villarreal to Mexico City, where she has been going through court hearings to determine if she will be prosecuted on federal charges.

Though born in Nuevo Leon, Teniente moved to Tamaulipas as a young adult when she was recruited into the state police force. According to an intelligence profile accessed by Breitbart Texas, the name “Teniente” comes from a love interest that she had at the time who was a lieutenant in the military. The woman is described as very intelligent and highly dangerous.

During her early years as a police officer, Gomez Villarreal was known for having an athletic build that she allegedly used to gain the favor or her higher-ups and rapidly rise in the ranks. She served as a police officer in Tampico, Matamoros, Ciudad Victoria, and Nuevo Laredo. During her time there, she had contact with members of the Gulf Cartel and Los Zetas, however, it wasn’t until 2014 when she fully joined a criminal organization. At the time, Zeta boss Miguel Angel Trevino Morales and his relatives Ana Isabel and José Francisco “El Kiko” Treviño Morales had a falling out with several of the original members, so they branched off and formed the Cartel Del Noreste (CDN) faction.

With the help of Gomez Villarreal, who became their right-hand woman, the CDN was able to get strategic territories in central Tamaulipas. After the arrest of Ana Isabel and Kiko, Teniente remained with the cartel and helped Juan Gerardo “El Huevo” Trevino Chavez lead the organization in Nuevo Laredo. As a top enforcer, Teniente oversaw the recruitment of lookouts and gunmen.

Gay Jewish Supervisor Claims Reopening Gay Sex Clubs Will Spur San Francisco’s Economic Recovery

Gay bathhouses could have an easier time returning to San Francisco, after the board of supervisors, led by Jewish homosexual Rafael Mandelman, approved an ordinance that would ease restrictions for adult sex venues on July 21 with a unanimous vote:

This will amend the Heath Code, requiring the Director of Health to “adopt minimum health and safety standards” for commercial adult sex venues. It will also remove decades-old policies that required these businesses to monitor sexual activities and prohibited private rooms and locked doors.

These regulations were put in place in 1984, when the AIDS crisis was devastating gay communities in San Francisco. They specifically targeted sex clubs and gay bathhouses, and while sex clubs eventually reopened in the city after shuttering their doors, gay bathhouses never did, according to the Bay Area Reporter.

That could change after the COVID-19 pandemic is over (this new ruling will not affect the city’s reopening timeline). The ordinance, led by Supervisor Rafael Mandelman, will help “decriminalize sexuality” according to a press release by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

“It’s time for regulations that were put in place at a time of fear and a lack of knowledge to catch up with the progress we’ve made in the fight to end AIDS,” Joe Hollendoner, CEO of San Francisco AIDS Foundation, said in the press release. “With PrEP, U=U and other advancements in sexual health, bathhouse restrictions are antiquated and stigmatizing.”

CDC Director Robert Redfield: the letter that should have destroyed his career

Long before Robert Redfield ascended to the CDC directorship, and also assumed a key post on the White House COVID Task Force, he was a US Army researcher working on an AIDS vaccine.

He ran into a great deal of trouble. His career was almost derailed. The Army finally saved him, through what some investigators assert was a complete whitewash.

On June 7th, 1994, two doctors from Public Citizen, Peter Lu and the relentless consumer advocate, Sidney Wolfe, wrote a long letter to Congressman Henry Waxman, chairman of the House Subcommittee on Health and the Environment. If Waxman had followed up with decisive action, Redfield might have been finished for good in the field of public health. Here are excerpts from the devastating letter:

“We are writing to request that your Subcommittee hold a hearing, as soon as possible, to investigate charges of grave impropriety committed by U.S. Department of Defense’ AIDS researchers. We have obtained Internal memoranda, not previously made public, from the Department of Defense that allege a systematic pattern of data manipulation, inappropriate statistical analyses and misleading data presentation by Army researchers in an apparent attempt to promote the usefulness of the GP160 AIDS vaccine…The Phase I and Phase II studies in which this alleged misconduct occurred were conducted by researchers at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR), led by Lt. Col. Robert Redfield, M.D., Chief of the Department of Retroviral Research, and misleading results from these trials were reported in…the New England Journal of Medicine in June 1991, the Journal AIDS Research and Human Retroviruses in June 1992 and the annual International AIDS Conference in Amsterdam in July 1992. In addition, overstated conclusions have been presented on two occasions at hearings before your Subcommittee.

“Meeting on October 23, 1992 to discuss the allegations by two Air Force research physicians (see below) of scientific misconduct by Dr. Redfield, a subcommittee of the Institutional Review Committee at the Wilford Hall U.S. Air Force Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas reached the following conclusion:

“The committee agreed the information presented by Dr. Redfield seriously threatens his credibility as a researcher and has the potential to negatively impact AIDS research funding for military institutions as a whole. His allegedly unethical behavior creates false hope and could result in premature deployment of the vaccine…

“That meeting was called to review an October 21, 1992 memorandum…from Maj. Craig W. Hendrix, M.D., Director of the HIV Program in the Air Force, and Col. R. Neal Boswell, MD., Associate Chief of the Division of Medicine in the Air Force, to Col. Donald Burke, M.D., Director of the Division of Retrovirology at WRAIR and Dr. Redfield’s immediate supervisor. The memorandum decried ‘The problem of misleading or, possibly, deceptive presentations by Dr. Redfleld, which overstate the GP160 [vaccine] Phase I data…’ and recommended that the following action be taken:

Pompeo Offers $10 Million Reward For Information On Foreign Election Interference

In his latest speech excoriating China and the American tech industry for helping to enable untrustworthy Chinese companies by including their apps in various app stores, the Secretary of State warned Wednesday that the US was working to rein in Chinese cloud providers, while encouraging US tech firms to drop certain Chinese-run apps from their app stores.

Pompeo also revealed the state department would offer $10 million reward for the identity or location of "any person who acting at the direction of a foreign government interferes with US. elections by engaging in certain criminal cyber activities."

Asked about Alex Azar's upcoming trip to Taiwan, a move that has infuriated Beijing, Pompeo insisted there was some precedent for sending a US cabinet official to China.

"Cabinet members have traveled to Taiwan previously," Pompeo said. "This is consistent with policies of previous times. In 2000, then Pres. Bill Clinton's Transportation Sec. Rodney Slater visited Taiwan."

He also said the US would introduce a resolution next week before the UN Security Council to bar Iran from resuming its weapons program. He also said the US has "made progress" with Russia in moving toward a new arms control treaty, however, the US "hopes the Russians will urge China to participate".

Pompeo's speech comes hours after a State Department Inspector General looking into Pompeo abruptly decided to "return to the private sector", months after his predecessor was fired.

Akard's departure comes just as his office finalizes a report on Pompeo's controversial decision to bypass Congress to sell $8.1 billion in arms to Saudi Arabia and other Arab allies by using an emergency tied to Iran as an excuse to override concerns that the sales would worsen the situation in Yemen, where the Iran-backed Houthis have been fighting a lengthy proxy war against the central government, backed by Saudi Arabia and its allies.

President Trump fired Akard's predecessor, Steve Linick, back in May on Pompeo's advice. Linick was also reportedly looking into allegations that Pompeo abused his power asking employees from the state department to run his personal errands.

An uncovered US Agency for International Development (USAID) document lays out a blueprint for regime change in Nicaragua. An expert told Sputnik the playbook shines a new light on the 2018 protests in Nicaragua as well as similar operations in other countries targeted by the US, such as Venezuela.

A new report by the Council on Hemispheric Affairs (COHA) has revealed a guide to regime change in Nicaragua by USAID. The document, which dates to March-April of this year, describes in frank terms how the agency, which maintains close ties with the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), could create or exploit a variety of scenarios to remove democratically-elected Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega and his FSLN party from power in or around the upcoming 2021 elections.

Jill Clark-Gollub, assistant editor and translator at COHA, told Radio Sputnik’s Loud and Clear Wednesday that many of the tactics outlined in the USAID document can be observed in the demonstrations that rocked Nicaragua in the summer of 2018.

‘Code-Speak for a Coup’

“It’s a contract hiring coup plotters - a ‘coup-plotters for hire’-type contract. And it’s really astounding how the whole document is based on the premise that we can impose a better version of democracy for the Nicaraguan people. It talks about a crisis and a transition, and all of this is code-speak for basically bringing about a coup.”

“It talks about three scenarios in which the transition can take place, and it says a transition could take place if our candidate wins the election, but other parts of the document make it clear that they don’t expect their pro-US candidate to win the election. They don’t even have a candidate. Then they talk about creating a crisis for a sudden transition - another code-speak for a coup - and then it talks about a delayed transition in which the FSLN party, the Sandinista Front for National Liberation, wins. And it’s even a free and fair election, and it’s recognized internationally, so it takes a longer time to get them out of there.”

“If you really hadn’t been paying attention at all, you would think there’s this country in crisis and that the US would be doing them a favor to get rid of that government and put in somebody else.”

US Officials Admit to Venezuela ‘Coup’

The news comes amid statements before a Senate committee on Tuesday in which US Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) frankly admitted to having attempted to engineer a coup d’etat against Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro beginning in January 2019.

“Our Venezuela policy over the last year and a half has been an unmitigated disaster,” Murphy told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. “We have to admit that our big play, recognizing [Juan] Guaidó right out of the gate, and then moving quickly to implement sanctions just didn't work … First, we thought that getting Guaidó to declare himself president would be enough to topple the regime. Then we thought putting aid on the border would be enough. Then we tried to sort of construct a kind of coup in April of last year, and it blew up in our face when all the generals that were supposed to break with Maduro decided to stick with him in the end.”

Josh Hodges, the senior deputy assistant administrator in USAID's Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), told the panel USAID support has been instrumental in helping Guaidó’s movement to function.

“We are using development assistance to support the interim government and the National Assembly with technical training, staffing support, equipment and communication efforts,” Hodges said. “USAID’s support bolsters the interim government’s ability to effectively operate and interact with constituents, despite the increased repression from the illegitimate regime. Our assistance has enabled increased participation with legitimate officials.”

Virginia Mayor Urged to Step Down for Saying That Joe Biden Chose Aunt Jemima as VP Pick

Remember in June when Quaker Oats announced that it would be removing the Aunt Jemima brand from its product line and white people—including one very sad Karen of the Becky variety—had a whole meltdown about it and adamantly denied the racist origins of the caricature? Well, it took less than two months for a white Virginia mayor to remind us that white people know damn well the connection to racist stereotyping that image carries.

The Telegraph reports that Luray, Va., Mayor Barry Presgraves has come under fire for posting to his Facebook page, “Joe Biden has just announced Aunt Jemima as his VP pick.”

Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden is expected to announce his choice for a running mate very soon. It’s been widely speculated that Biden will choose a woman (mostly because he’s said as much repeatedly) and plenty of people have suggested that the woman be Black. In fact, a lot of people are putting their money on California Sen. Kamala Harris since Biden was recently photographed holding notes with talking points that suggested Harris may be at the top of his list of potential running mates.

Unless Presgraves has been living under a rock that also lives under a rock, it’s a safe bet that he’s aware of all of this. That didn’t stop him from lying his racist white ass off about what he meant by his post after a Luray city council member called for him to step down.

“This was about a prominent woman who made pancake batter and the company was forced to take it off, which was wrong,” Presgraves told Page Valley News. “This was no more racist than the names I’ve been called.”

Presgraves continued by invoking a common wypipo proverb: “I don’t have a racist bone in my body.”

You see…love for chicken is a Black stereotype. The Devil most certainly invented boneless chicken wings. White people are often called devils. Therefore, white people invented boneless chicken wings to ensure that other white people don’t unknowingly put racist bones in their bodies. I’m just going to sit here and wait on my Pulitzer.

Anyway, white people like Presgraves can deny the racist connotation all they want, but I know a few Black people who have been called Aunt Jemima or Buckwheat by white people who would also swear to Lily-White Jesus that they too lack the particular bone required to do the racisms.

I’d have far more respect for people like Presgraves—who told Page Valley News, “Hell no, I’m not resigning”—if they would just stand by their bigotry.

At least when Black people call white people whatever “racist” names Presgtaves says he’s been called, we hold tight to our own proverb:

“I said what the fuck I said.”

Project Veritas Founder James O'Keefe Sues FBI

Project Veritas founder James O'Keefe is suing the FBI after the agency denied his application to buy a firearm because he is erroneously listed as a felon in the NICS criminal background check system maintained by the FBI.

O'Keefe attempted to purchase firearms at several New York gun stores, only to be told he couldn't complete the transactions. In a lawsuit filed on Thursday, O'Keefe argues that the FBI "has illegally placed Mr. O'Keefe on a federal watch list designed to preclude convicted felons from purchasing firearms by falsely claiming Mr. O'Keefe has in fact been convicted of a felony. "

The agency has "repeatedly, wrongfully, and without justification denied Mr. O'Keefe the ability to purchase a firearm," states the Thursday filing.

Trump Withdraws Re-nomination of Veteran FCC Commissioner Due to 5G Controversy

The Federal Communications Commission is supposed to protect Americans by regulating the telecom industry. They have been doing the exact opposite for decades. Current FCC Chair Ajit Pai, refers to this as being “not heavy handed.” Unfortunately, this approach has put Americans in more danger than ever with 5G deployment on land and in space (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

Lawsuits have been filed against the agency for NOT protecting Americans from unsafe levels of radiation and 5G (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). American opposition is not limited to biological and environmental risks (see 1, 2) from radiation. Federal agencies and other experts have warned that 5G can threaten national security, public safety, and weather forecasting accuracy (see 1, 2, 3) The FCC doesn’t seem to give a poop about that either. At least Trump seems to be finally paying attention.

President Trump has withdrawn the nomination of FCC Commissioner Michael O’Rielly, a six-year FCC veteran who was expected by many to be renewed for a third term, as first reported by Reuters. The withdrawal comes less than a week after Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) placed a hold on the nomination over concerns about O’Rielly’s position on a recently approved terrestrial 5G network.

The conflict centers over a controversial 5G network recently approved by the commission. The proposed network would operate on the L-band spectrum traditionally utilized by radar and GPS, operated by Ligado Networks as a low-power terrestrial system. In its proposal, Ligado pledged to report its base stations and operating parameters to avoid any interference with existing L-band users, but critics of the order have remained concerned that the network may interfere with GPS systems.

Sen. Inhofe is one of those critics, saying, “This isn’t just about our military, but all users of GPS are united in opposition.” As a result, Inhofe sought to block O’Rielly’s nomination “until he publicly states that he will vote to overturn the current Ligado Order.”

Does Anyone Have the Courage to Indict Former President Barack Obama?

I recently watched a documentary about how the U.S. government finally took down the mob (aka the Mafia). For decades, the U.S. government failed miserably. Why? Because it could only catch low-level “soldiers” in the act of a crime but never the mob boss (aka The Don).

But something changed in the late 1980s. The government applied the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, or RICO Act, to the Mafia. It proved the mob acted as a “family.” And when the head of the family gave an order, he was as guilty as the “soldier” who carried it out. This allowed the government to destroy the Mafia.

Suddenly, a light bulb went off. I realized this is exactly how to indict, convict and send former President Barack Obama to prison.

I believe Obama is the biggest criminal in the history of the United States. RICO is how we get Don Obama. He was the head of a family just like the Mafia. Call it the Obama Crime Family.

Attorney General William Barr and U.S. Attorney Durham are playing in the minor leagues. They are going after the “soldiers” of the Obama criminal family. But they should be targeting the head of the snake: Obama. He gave all the orders. He oversaw and coordinated all the crime, extortion, theft, fraud and lies. And, of course, the biggest crime of all: spying. Some might call that treason.

It was all Obama. Just like in New York in the 1980s, it was all Paul Castellano and John Gotti of the Gambino family. The only difference is the crimes and audacity of Obama make the Gambinos look like Boy Scouts. Trust me, the Mafia has nothing on Obama.

Let’s compare the crimes of Obama vs. the Gambinos’.

Don Obama targeted, hunted, demonized, intimidated and punished his best customers (business owners and high-income taxpayers). Obama’s weapons of choice were the highest taxes and the most regulations in U.S. history. Even the Mafia treats its best customers better than this!

Unfortunately, we can’t indict Obama over that.

But Obama’s IRS crimes are a different story. Obama had his own personal government-sanctioned hit squad. Obama’s IRS thugs went after tea partiers, conservatives and groups that believed in the U.S. Constitution. Even the Mafia had more respect for the Constitution than Obama’s government gang.
