In my little neck or rural Britain, we had vivid blue skies and warm sunshine for the first 3 weeks of April and the first two weeks of May.
I then noticed a heavy flurry of persistent "contrails" followed by a return to winter weather conditions.
There has not been one day of clear blue skies since. Truly the worst summer I can remember.
