Murder, sexual harassment rates at Fort Hood among highest in the service, Army secretary says

The rates of certain violent crimes, including murder, are generally higher at Fort Hood, Texas, than other installations across the force, the Army’s top civilian leader said Thursday.

The acknowledgment comes on the heels of the incredibly violent death of Spc. Vanessa Guillen, who federal prosecutors say was bludgeoned to death by a fellow soldier inside a Fort Hood armory and later dismembered to hide the remains.

Trump issues executive orders with effective bans of TikTok, WeChat

On Monday Donald Trump threatened to ban TikTok unless the ByteDance-owned app is acquired by a US company. On Thursday the president enshrined that threat into an executive order, calling the wide use of Chinese apps a "national emergency."

Lebanon will have to pay close attention to a report released on June 10 by the Congressional Republican Study Committee (RSC), containing recommendations on a variety of foreign policy questions.
